In celebration of mom's birthday, we spent the weekend in New England, visiting the Pumpkin Festival in Keene, NH. The weather was amazing for October and we had the best time.
You may ask why we had to go to Keene, NH for a pumpkin festival. Well the photos tell the story. This little town each October goes for the World Record of carved pumpkins. This year over 25,000 were submitted. Yes we brought one as well and had perfect placement for all to see!
You have to see it to believe it! From apple cider to pumpkin whoopie pies, this festival has the best food at great prices. Complete with a halloween costume parade we give this fall festival two thumbs up!
Big thanks to Meg who hung out with us all day as we took in the sights and sounds of this amazing festival!
P.A. You may ask what happens on Sunday with those thousands of pumpkins...let's just say there are a lot of happy pigs.
